NASHVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – The Tennessee Titans announced several more additions to the coaching staff – Terrell Williams (Defensive Line), Tony Dews (Running Backs) and Keith Carter (Offensive Line). Additionally, long-time strength and conditioning coach Steve Watterson will remain on the staff.

Terrell Williams (Defensive Line)
Williams has 20 years of coaching experience, including six seasons in the NFL. His most recent stop was three years (2015-17) with the Miami Dolphins coaching the defensive line. During his three seasons with the Dolphins, DE Cameron Wake tallied 29 sacks, which was the eighth-highest total by a player, and DT Ndamukong Suh totaled the eighth-highest number of sacks (15.5) among defensive tackles. Williams spent three seasons (2012-14) with the Oakland Raiders and the defense over that period ranked 10th in rushing average (4.05/attempt). Prior to joining the NFL coaching ranks, Williams spent 14 years as a college coach. He spent two years (2010-11) at Texas A&M, where the Aggies led the nation in sacks (51) in 2011. Other stops for Williams included Purdue (2006-09), Akron (2004-05), Youngstown State (2002-03), North Carolina A&T (1999-2001) and Fort Scott Community College (1998). A native of Los Angeles, Williams played nose tackle at East Carolina.

Keith Carter (Offensive Line)
Carter joins the Titans after three seasons (2015-17) with the Atlanta Falcons. A veteran of 13 seasons as a coach, Carter has five years of NFL coaching experience. While with the Falcons, he spent two years (2015-16) as the Assistant Offensive Line coach and the Running Backs coach this past season (2017). The offensive line for the 2016 Falcons protected the NFL MVP Matt Ryan and paved the way for the fifth-best rushing attack in the NFL, while winning the NFC Championship. As Running Backs coach last year, the Falcons produced the ninth-ranked rushing total with Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman combining for 1,493 yards and 12 rushing yards. Prior to joining the Falcons, Carter was the Offensive Line/Run Game coach for one year (2014) at San Jose State. He also tallied two seasons (2012-13) as the Offensive Quality Control coach for the Seattle Seahawks. Additionally, Carter had stops at the University of San Diego (Tight Ends, 2009; Offensive Line, 2010-11), University of the Redlands (Offensive Line, 2007-08), Wagner College (Tight Ends, 2006) and UCLA (Undergraduate Assistant, 2005). Carter played his tight end, H-back and fullback at UCLA. A native of Downingtown, Pa. he is the grandson of Pro Football Hall of Famer, Gino Marchetti, who played for the Baltimore Colts.

Tony Dews (Running Backs)
Dews is a veteran of 20 years coaching in the college ranks, who has experience coaching a variety of position groups throughout his career. Most recently, he was the Running Backs coach at West Virginia in 2017. RB Justin Crawford totaled 1,061 rushing yards (5.6/carry) and seven touchdowns and the Mountaineers rushed for 1,954 yards. Prior to coaching in Morgantown, Dews spent five years (2012-16) at the University of Arizona coaching wide receivers. He coached tight ends at the University of Pittsburgh in 2011. He also spent time at Michigan (Wide Receivers, 2008-10), West Virginia (Wide Receivers, 2007; Graduate Assistant, 1999-01), UNLV (Linebackers, 2006), Central Michigan (Special Teams, 2005), Central Michigan (Tackles/Tight Ends, 2004), Holy Cross (Defensive Line, 2003), California (Pa.) (Offensive Line, 2002) and Millersville (Defensive Line, 1998). A native of Virginia, Dews played tight end at Liberty University, where he was the team’s leading receiver in each of his final two seasons.
