Timothy B. Gist passed away at home on Friday, May 31, 2024.
He was the son of Carolyn Russell and the late Jack Gist. Tim was born in Nashville, TN on June 3, 1964, and grew up in Cheatham County. He graduated from Cheatham County Central High in 1983. Tim was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Alabama Crimson Tide supporter.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Gail Daniel; daughter, Lindsey (Courtney) Gist; son, Jared (Chelsea) Flantzman; stepdaughter, Mary (William) Parker; stepson, Joshua (Lori) Haywood; grandchildren, Zachery Lunsford, Will Parker, Michael Haywood, Sabastian Flantzman, Miranda, Reilei, Isabella, Autumn Gist, Jeff (Brook) Crook; brothers, Wayne, Jack (Ashlee) Gist and Brian Russell; uncles, Charles (Betty) Parks and Mike (Faye) Parks; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Freedom Point in Liberty Park, Clarksville, TN on July 21, 2024, from 1:00-3:00 PM.
