Her story will be featured on “The Today Show” on Monday, Dec. 20, at 7:30 a.m., according to a statement this morning from Montgomery County Government, which hosted filming at Downtown Commons.

Skipper started with a bobby pin, and, in the months since she began, traded up to items of larger and larger value, ending up with everything from a Peloton bike to a diamond necklace, with 28 trades before she landed the house, according to the New York Post.

Skipper and her husband will call Clarksville home for about three months as they renovate the house. She told the Post the house is worth about $80,000 in its current state.

Local real estate agents Ciera and Bill Netherton exchanged the home for a solar-powered trailer as a way to promote Clarksville, Montgomery County, according to the statement.
