Thurman Michael Howell, age 75 of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
Mike was born September 30, 1939 in Paris, TN, to the late Arthur Monroe Howell II and Evelyn Elizabeth Thompson Howell. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur “Bubba” Monroe Howell III and Bill Howell, and one sister, Barbara Womack Mann.
Mr. Howell was a paramedic and later the Director of Montgomery County EMS for five years. He was also a member of the Gold Miners Association of America.
A private graveside service will be held in Paris, TN.
Mike is survived by two daughters, Melynda Howell (Larry) Conner and Elizabeth Howell (Jerry) Johnson, both of Clarksville; two sisters, Kaye Howell (Dale) Foust of Cleveland, TN, and Patricia Howell King of Atlanta, GA; and five grandchildren, Josh Johnson, Justin Rountree, Denver and Lia Hall, and Susan Conner.
