CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service is forecasting showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night that will continue into Wednesday morning.
Some of those storms may be strong but severe weather is not expected, according to Meteorologist Sam Herron.
“The good news is we’re not expecting a major severe weather event so I think everybody can kind of relax on this one, but at the same time we could see a few strong storms, maybe a few gusty winds, we might have some hail out of this,” Herron said. ” It’s something to be aware of but we’re not expecting a whole lot of severe weather with it.”
Herron added all of the stormy weather should blow through Wednesday afternoon and it looks good for the rest of the week.
