CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The threat of severe storms passed Saturday night with a few incidents of damage, but no injuries in the Clarksville area.

A downed tree crossed a power line early Sunday near Idaho Springs Road, but crews untangled the line from the fallen branch before dawn, leaving a neat stack of logs.

Readers reported a shed at Lowe’s had blown into the street and similar property damage was reported throughout Montgomery County.

Other areas in middle Tennessee did not fare as well. According to WKRN-TV News Channel 2, an entire wall was blown out of a building in Davidson County and there were numerous downed power lines and outages in nine counties leaving more than 12,000 homes without power.
