CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Thousands of people gathered in Clarksville at several sites to assist with post-tornado cleanup efforts. Over 700 individuals volunteered Thursday morning at Mosaic Church to help drag debris to the road, clean up garbage, and clear spaces.

“Working with our local city and county government officials has been incredible,” Aron Maberry, the Next Gen Pastor at Mosaic Church, stated. “From Sunday to Thursday, we’ve had about 3,000 volunteers. Thank you, Clarksville, for what you’ve done.”

Several military members assisted in the cleanup process. “I’m here to help out a team member,” Army Sgt. Maj. Michael Baldwin stated. “We want to make sure we’re doing our part to help those that are affected by this tragedy.”

“This is such a tragedy, and we’re just here to help out and support anyone that’s in the neighborhood during this hard time.” Maj. Latasha Daniels, executive officer of the Army Field Support Battalion, explained.
