Thomas E. “Pete” Heath, age 85, of Cunningham, TN, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center.
Pete was born February 16, 1930 in Dickson County, TN, to the late Frank Heath and Eleanor Wall Heath. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Heath and one sister, Emma Lee Grimes.
Mr. Heath was a member of Lee’s Chapel Church of Christ, a Mason, a longtime farmer, and a US Army Veteran. He was a retired truck driver from Beach Oil Company.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 3 at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Hargrove officiating. Burial will follow at Rye’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 2 and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday, May 3 at the funeral home.
Pete is survived by his son, Thomas E. Heath, Jr.; daughter, Rhonda J. (Rex) Davis; sister, Katie (George) Stricklin; and grandson, Thomas Franklin Davis.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Davis, Brian Baggett, David Stricklin, Mark Riggins, Josh Rau, and Terry Brown.
