CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – We have a rainy weekend ahead, but luckily there are a couple of exciting indoor events going on: a video game music concert and the premiere of a film by a Clarksville native.
Power Up: Video Games in Concert
- Where: Mabry Concert Hall, Austin Peay State University
- When: Sunday, March 8, 4 p.m.
- Cost: Tickets available through the Gateway Chamber Orchestra
- Details: Presented by the Gateway Chamber Orchestra, this immersive, family-friendly concert takes audiences on a symphonic journey through iconic video game scores, paired with gameplay visuals. Featuring music from titles such as Star Wars Outlaws, Journey, Octopath Traveler II, Hollow Knight: Silksong and more, the program is designed for ages 10-18 and gaming enthusiasts of all ages.
Tennessee premiere of Preserved
- Where: Customs House Museum & Cultural Center, 200 S. Second St.
- When: Saturday, March 7. VIP meet and greet at 4:30 p.m.; reception and screening begin at 5 p.m.
- Cost: $35 general admission; $50 VIP (includes meet and greet)
- Details: The Tennessee premiere of Preserved, a documentary directed by Clarksville native and mountaineer Ben Clark, will feature a red-carpet reception, film screening and panel discussion. VIP tickets include a pre-screening meet and greet with Clark and Executive Editor Mary Anne Potts.
