CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)-  The historical Leaf-Chronicle Building at 200 Commerce Street was once daily filled with the buzz of a massive printing press as the newspaper rolled fresh off the press.

The Press, a modern co-working space located on the top floor of the former Leaf-Chronicle building, will be opening as Clarksville’s first collaborative community for entrepreneurship and coworking. g. It pays homage to the printing press headquarters that used to occupy the space. The newly renovated Leaf-Chronicle office will continue to occupy the second floor.

The Press is designed to support the many small business owners, entrepreneurs, startups, non-profits, freelancers, and college students in Clarksville. This modern community space will house various amenities to help excel each individual’s business and personal goals forward.

Built to support these unique creators, The Press will open up to a new audience in the downtown area, furthering the growth of the Clarksville economy.

The Press occupies 10,000 square feet of space, which will incorporate various sizes of private offices, open desk workspaces, meeting rooms, an amphitheater for workshops and event space. Membership options will range from private offices, personal desks and shared community workstations.
