CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A man was killed in a crash on Peachers Mill Road early Saturday.
A 27 year old male, who was partially ejected and trapped died at the scene. A female passenger escaped the vehicle by crawling out of a smashed passenger-side window. She suffered only minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.
According to Clarksville Police, the crash occurred just after 2:00 a.m. Saturday, near Hidden Springs Dr. and that both the driver and passenger were not wearing seat belts.
Witnesses say the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed.
Police did not immediately release the names of those involved or indicate whether drugs or alcohol were a factor.
