CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Alzheimer’s Association’s annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place on Saturday, October 6 in Clarksville this year.
The event is located at Liberty Park’s Honor Pavilion, located at 1188 Cumberland Drive. Registration is at 8 a.m., and the opening ceremony is at 9 a.m. The walk, the route for which spans two miles, will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is an annual event for communities across the nation, in which community members contribute to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s.
At the time of this writing, with 584 participants and 74 teams, the Clarksville fundraiser has raised $64,746 of its $75,000 goal.
All proceeds from the event will further the care, support, and research of the Alzhemier’s Association.
