CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – O’Charley’s restaurants in Clarksville delivered over 250 meals to workers at Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville Tuesday.

The free meals were part of O’Charley’s ‘Hometown Heroes’ initiative to show their appreciation of the healthcare individuals for their hard work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The meals were prepared on site inside the O’Charley’s food trailer and delivered to the Tennova workers to enjoy inside the hospital.

“We are feeding all of the hospital workers here because they’re truly in the front lines,” said Lindsey Smith, Senior Field Market Manager for O’Charleys. “They’re helping our community be safe and keeping us safe through this pandemic which has been crazy for everybody.  We are so grateful for everything they have done for us and the community,” said Smith.

Paul Martone, Chief Operating Officer for Tennova, said the meals from the O’Charley’s were fantastic. “We’ve got a ton of support from the community. They’ve been very gracious. It’s actually a big boost of morale for the staff because they see the appreciation and support, it’s great,” Martone said.

O’Charley’s team members are planning another event with free meals to recognize first responders this Thursday at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
