CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Tennova Healthcare Clarksville recently honored 104 employees for their service to the hospital and its patients.

“We honor these employees for the care and compassion they display to our patients and their family members,” said Alex Villa, Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville CEO.

Those who were honored for their five-year increments of service had a combined total of 1,390 years as hospital employees. Contributing the most years were Daniel Greenwood, Histology Technologist and Joy Roberts, RN, Core Measures Abstractor; each with 40 years of service. James Blackburn, Pharmacist, Sandra Lane, Business Office, and Katherine Mahon, Information Systems, were all recognized for 35 years of service.

Employees of the Month for 2017 were recognized and among them, Sheryl Travis, RN, Labor & Delivery, was named Employee of the Year. Travis earned the honor for consistently providing the highest quality of service and meeting customer’s needs with the utmost care, compassion and courtesy.

Two department managers also received awards. The Clinical Manager of the Year award for 2017 went to Marissa Borja, Director of Med/Surg, Oncology, & Inpatient Rehabilitation and Sandy Wooten, Director of Volunteer, Senior, and Spiritual Programs earned the Non-Clinical Manager of the Year Award.
