CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Friday, September 16 is the National POW/MIA Recognition Day and The Tennessee Vietnam Traveling Wall is now on display inside the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library. The wall will be on display through September 23.
Veteran AJ Perrone, who served with the 101st in Vietnam is the person responsible for the wall display. He said the wall in Washington D.C. has 58,000 names of fallen military personnel and this particular wall has 27 names of Tennesseans who are recognized as POW/MIA’s from the state. One of the names is from Clarksville, Donald Peter Cervais.
