CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Two Immaculate Conception School students, Hannah Motes, age 13 and Sebastian Motes, age 11, were honored by Tennessee State Senator Mark Green Friday, September 19 for their outstanding scholastic achievements and community involvement.
Senator Green read proclamations from the Tennessee Senate recognizing the sister and brother at the school on Madison Street. “Today I want to celebrate two children who have used the gifts that God has given them in a very special way,” said Green. Both proclamations commended the students for their accomplishments and wished them happy, successful futures.
The pair were at Cambridge from July 24-August 19 after both students were awarded distinctive placements in the Cambridge Scholar’s Program in England. This exclusive program is normally reserved for academically talented high school students, but exceptions were made for the pair based on their remarkable grades and their standardized test scores in middle school.
