HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Hopkinsville Community College, in conjunction with the West Kentucky Workforce, will host a Solar Eclipse Job Fair on Thursday, June 29 from 1-6 p.m. in the Gallery of the Auditorium Building at Hopkinsville Community College.
Interested participants can interact with potential employers that are seeking temporary assistance in a variety of areas including security, food service, customer relations, and general event staff. Attractions and area residents that are in need of temporary work force assistance can contact Carol Kirves at 270-707-3751 to register for the event.

About the Solar Eclipse
On August 21, 2017, Hopkinsville, KY, will be the Point of Greatest Eclipse for the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse. Astronomers estimate up to 100,000 visitors will be descending upon Hopkinsville (dubbed as “Eclipseville”) throughout Eclipse weekend. With 81 percent of the US population within 600 miles of the path of totality, this will be the most viewed solar eclipse in history.
