CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A teenager woke up to find two burglars in his bedroom Wednesday at a home on Buttercup Dr. in Clarksville.

According to a police report, the teen woke up to his dog growling and saw a short, thin male in dark clothing with a red mask and a black bandana across his face. He also saw a tall, thin male in light-colored clothing and a white bandana.

The juvenile said the shorter suspect demanded money and the victim gave him $50. He said the other burglar took his wallet, which he said contained $300. The teen said as the suspects were leaving, the shorter man removed his mask and he was able to identify him.

Detective Bartel contacted the occupants of the home where the juvenile suspect lives, but officers were denied consent to search the residence.

The house was put on a freeze while officers waited for a search warrant.

Police said while talking to the victim, they found the wallet on the front porch with $100 inside.
