CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) held a ribbon cutting Tuesday, August 4 to celebrate the grand opening of their Clarksville campus. TCAT is located at 135 International Boulevard.

Clarksville’s TCAT is an extension campus of TCAT Dickson and is a state technical school offering workforce development with the mission of building a strong workforce in Tennessee. The facility began training students in 1992 and with the new additions TCAT to double enrollment from just four years ago.

Vice Chancellor for the College of Applied Technology education system said the Clarksville campus was a model for other locations. “This would not be where it is today without the support of the business and industry community right here in Clarksville. They saw the need,” King said.
