Update, 11:18 a.m.: A statewide AMBER Alert has been issued for 9-year-old Jordan Gorman. According to the TBI, new information and growing concern over the boy’s whereabouts have forced the Bureau to issue the alert.

The Bureau has also shared a new photo of Jordan.

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help in finding a 9-year-old Cheatham County boy who went missing Sunday, Nov. 15.

The TBI issued a statewide, Endangered Child Alert, or ECA, for Jordan Allen Gorman of Ashland City. The child ran into the woods near his family’s home on Valley View Road after he got into a disagreement with his parents, according to reporting from Clarksville Now news partner WKRN.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol tweeted Monday morning that they were using their helicopter to aid in the search, and K-9 units have been deployed as well.

Jordan is 4 feet tall, weighs 75 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a grey short sleeve T-shirt with red stripes on the arms.
