CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has joined the search for 16-year-old Tai Harrell, a Clarksville teen who recently escaped from a Rutherford County detention facility.

Police said Tai Harrell stole a four-door, silver Toyota Tundra with a TN Temp tag (3 days old) on the truck, which also has tinted windows. There was a gun inside the truck at the time, meaning Harrell may be armed. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Harrell, who was previously listed as an endangered runaway teen, was initially taken into custody after a lengthy standoff with Clarksville police on April 2.
