Update, Sept. 27: Cason has been taken into custody by Metropolitan Nashville Police.

Thursday night, the TITANS (The Investigative Team Addressing Neighborhood Shootings) Unit located and arrested Cason in a home on Lebanon Pike in Nashville, according to Metro.

Cason was booked on a local outstanding probation violation and will be transported back to Montgomery County for outstanding attempted homicide, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated burglary warrants.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Most Wanted Alert for a Nashville man wanted in a Greenwood Avenue area shooting early Saturday morning.

On Wednesday, the TBI issued the alert for 30-year-old Michael Cason. He has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated burglary.

Cason is 6 feet tall and 150 pounds. Anyone with information regarding his location is asked to call 911 immediately. He is considered to be armed and dangerous and should not be confronted, police said.

At about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Clarksville Police were called to an address on McGraw Street and found a male who had been shot three times, according to police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien. Officers performed life-saving measures on the victim, and he was flown to Nashville by LifeFlight helicopter. The victim was listed in critical condition.
