CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Tayla Lynn, granddaughter of country music legend Loretta Lynn, was in Clarksville on Tuesday visiting Appleton Harley-Davidson and promoting the upcoming Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival (TMMR) at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills.

Lynn will be the emcee and host for the fifth annual bike rally, May 19-22, featuring live music with headliner ZZ Top icon Billy Gibbons. The event is presented by Harley-Davidson, which is one reason Lynn was at Appleton, to learn more about motorcycles and try on some Harley gear.

“Appleton Harley-Davidson has been so instrumental in putting this thing together, they have been so good to us, and we wanted to come out and look at some of their bikes. I wanted to get some Harley clothes to host the event, and Tia (Suiter) from Appleton’s has completely dressed me from head to toe,” Lynn said.

Appleton Harley-Davidson owner Tia Suiter said that over the years, people have come and gone through Tennessee for rallies in Daytona, and now the Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival is a national Harley-Davidson rally.

“Finally, we are a go-to state and no longer a go-through state. It’s nice having them come to the great state of Tennessee, with our beautiful countryside to experience everything we’ve got to offer,” Suiter said.

WKRN News 2 chief meteorologist Danielle Breezy was also at Appleton to pick out some Harley-themed clothing. On May 19, Breezy will be live at the ranch with TMMR reporting the weather on News 2.

Other performers scheduled at the event along with Tayla Lynn and her dad Ernie Lynn, Loretta Lynn’s son, include Ben and Noel Haggard, sons of Merle Haggard, the Outlaws, Tim Montana, and Bones Owens, Red Clay Strays and War Hippies.
