MAHKMOUR, Iraq – Soldiers of Troop A, 1st Squadron, 75th Calvary Regiment, Task Force Strike, received the Combat Action Badge during a ceremony in Camp Swift, Iraq, June 2, 2016.
The soldiers were awarded for taking hostile indirect fire in Mahkmour, Iraq, May 2, 2016, while supporting the Iraqi Security Forces.
Troop A is deployed as part of Task Force Strike, providing security for Coalition forces stationed in Mahkmour.
