Sylvia Carey Osborne, age 94, of Woodlawn, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014.
She was born October 8, 1919 in Mingo County, WV, to the late Nathan Carey and Oma White Carey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, (Retired MSgt.) Clyde Q. Osborne; one son, Quentin Osborne; and eleven brothers and sisters.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Sylvia is survived by two sons; Gary (Patricia), of Clarksville, and John, of Woodlawn; one brother, John, of Kermit, WV; five grandchildren, Cody (Linda), Stacey (Steve), Kelly, Jeannie (James), and Scott; and nine great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, September 27 at Greenwood Cemetery, with Rev. Charles Thornberg officiating.
