CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville Parks & Recreation hosted its annual Chocolate Affair Saturday at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. Those attending enjoyed bite-sized samples of various foods, all of which included chocolate in some form or fashion.

There were two sessions for the Chocolate Affair. Close to 180 guests were at the afternoon session, featuring something for the whole family, and there was an evening session billed as the perfect date night.

Nine vendors shared their savory creations with the public, and awards were presented to the chocolatiers in three categories: Best Taste, Best Presentation and Most Creative Use of Chocolate.

  • Best Taste, 1st place: Kaykes and Treats, Miss Glady’s Cheesecake was runner-up.
  • Best Presentation, 1st place: Chealseys Cookie Jar, Blessed Occasions Catering was runner-up.
  • Most Creative Use of Chocolate, 1st place: SoFly Bagels, Blessed Occasions Catering was runner-up.

Other participating vendors included Britt’s Kitchen, Ravenwood Coffee and Creations, Virtuous Queens Vegan Kitchen, and Liberty Park Grill.
