CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Three men and a juvenile have been charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Deadly Weapon Tuesday, July 3. Clarksville Police responded to a call about four individuals sitting inside of a vehicle flipping a gun around.

Officers arrived on the scene at an apartment complex in the 2700 block of Trenton Rd. An odor of marijuana could be detected and one of the men had a handgun in his lap.

After the men exited the vehicle, there were eight firearms found inside. Three of which were found to be stolen from Clarksville vehicle burglaries. Also, marijuana was found inside of the vehicle.

Three adults and a juvenile were taken in custody and charged. The following adults were booked into the Montgomery County Jail:

Shomari Moody, 18, was charged with Burglary, Theft of Property, Simple Possession, and Unlawful Carrying of a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $35,000.

Nekhael Ross, 21, was charged with Theft of Property, and Simple Possession. Bond was set at $15,000.

Deonte Taylor, 20, was charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Deadly Weapon and Simple Possession with bond set at $15,000.

The juvenile, 17, was charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Deadly Weapon and Simple Possession. They were cited and released to the custody of a family member.
