CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police are attempting to identify two suspects involved in an armed robbery at Papa Murphy’s on Wilma Rudolph Blvd.
The robbery occurred September 5 around 9:15 p.m. when the establishment had closed for the night. Two suspects described as black males entered the business as one of the employees was taking out the trash.
The suspects had a firearm and instructed the manager to give them the money out of the registers and safe. After they had taken the money, the suspects fled on foot.
DESCRIPTIONS:
The first suspect was wearing a black and gray plaid jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt with camouflage pants and gloves. The second suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt over a white shirt with black pants. Both suspects had their faces partially covered. According to the victims, the suspects appeared to be in their late teens or early twenties.
NOTE:
At this time, there is no evidence that indicates that the robbery at the Dollar General on Madison St. (occurred on the same date between 8:36 p.m. and 8:41 p.m.) and this incident are related.
