CLARKSVILLE Tenn. – What appears to be an attempted burglary was reported Sunday night on Country Club Dr.

According to a police report, a witness called police around 8:30 p.m. and said he saw four people dressed in all black and what he thought were Halloween masks walking on Glendale Circle toward Country Club Dr.

The witness was unable to identify the race, gender, or age range of the individuals.

He said he saw them run up to the front door of a home on Country Club Dr. where they started kicking in the door before running off toward McCan Dr.

The homeowner said she was asleep in her back bedroom when she heard three or four loud bangs on her front door.

A man who was sleeping in the living room at the time said he heard the kicks on the door and when he got up he saw that it was halfway open. Through the door he could see an individual wearing all black and a mask from the “Scream” movies.

The suspect ran off and the residents ran to the back door where they saw four people running away.

The residents said no one ever entered the home.

Police found a foot print on the door but did not see any other damage. However, the front door was unable to be pushed open.

There are no suspects at this time.
