CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. – Investigators have obtained a warrant for a Hopkinsville man stemming from the investigation of the assault of a Hopkinsville teenager over the weekend.

Sam Miller, 18, was taken into custody Wednesday night by the Louisville Metro Sex Crimes Unit in Louisville, KY.

Miller will be transported to Christian County today to answer to the following charges:
-Sodomy (1st degree)
-Promoting a minor in a sex performance
-Use of a minor in a sex performance
-Distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor

His bond has been set at $1,000,000.

Four people were arrested Oct. 14 in connection with a video displaying the assault of a 15-year-old male in Christian County.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was assaulted at a residence on Lafayette Rd. and was taken to Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville to be treated for life threatening injuries.

The specific details of the assault have not been released, but three of the four male suspects have been charged with sodomy (1st degree). Other charges include: use of a minor in a sexual performance, promoting a sexual performance by a minor, tampering with evidence, and distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Police believe three of the suspects engaged in the assault, videotaped the incident, and distributed the video. The fourth suspect has been charged with possessing a video showing the assault.

19-year-old Tyler R. Perry, 20-year-old Dayton Ross Jones were arrested and booked into the Christian County Jail.

The two 17-year-old male suspects were taken to the Christian County Designated Workers Office for processing.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
