HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed robbery Monday, June 9 around 5 p.m. at Billy’s Van and Truck Parts located at 1090 ByPass Rd. in Hopkinsville.

According to initial reports, Jeremy Tillman, 25, entered Billy’s Van and Truck Parts and pulled a handgun on the employees at the business and demanded money, which he was not given. The suspect fled the business and was picked up at a location on Prosperity Lane by the other suspects, 18-year-old Devin Joiner, the driver and owner of the getaway vehicle, and Timothy Dunn, 24.

Deputy Eddie Frye stopped the vehicle on Cave St. after a description of the vehicle was given by the victim approximately three minutes after the robbery. Deputy Frye ordered the suspects out of the car and they were taken into custody.

Tillman was charged with robbery in the first degree. Joiner was charged with robbery and wanton endangerment, and Dunn was charged with robbery and tampering with physical evidence.

All three suspect were taken into custody, questioned at the Sheriff’s Office and will be lodged in the Christian County Jail.

UPDATE: The suspect’s brother, Derrick Tillman, 20, is also being charged with complicity to commit robbery for being in the vehicle at the time the robbery occurred.
