CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville police need the public’s help to identify a suspect in a recent counterfeiting case.
According to a news release, the suspect purchased lottery tickets at the Shell Station located at 1230 Tylertown Rd. shortly after midnight on May 17. The suspect used a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for the tickets. The clerk told police she could see several other $100 bills in the suspect’s possession that also appeared to be counterfeit.
The clerk described the suspect as a black male, bald, in his 40s or 50s. Anyone who can identify this man or provide information about the case can contact Detective Honholt at 931-648-0656 ext. 5260 or the Crime Stoppers TIPS line at 931-645-TIPS (8477).
