CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Detective Rodney Lifsey with the Clarksville Police Department is investigating multiple felony theft of property cases involving one suspect and is requesting public assistance in identifying him.

In the most recent case, the suspected entered Walmart on Madison St. Aug. 13 around 4 p.m. and asked to look at a diamond ring in the jewelry counter.

The store associate showed him one ring, and then he asked to look at a second ring. While the associate was occupied, the suspect took the ring valued at $1,498 and replaced it with a ring valued at $10.

The suspect then told the associate he would need time to think about the purchase and left the store.

This same individual committed similar crimes here and in Smyrna, TN.
