CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville police need the public’s help to locate a man wanted for aggravated assault in connection with a shooting that occurred June 22.
According to a news release, the victim was walking through Summit Heights when he got into an argument with four males. He said the argument turned physical and 23-year-old Vincent Merriweather pulled out a handgun and shot him in the leg.
Merriweather has an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault with a bond amount of $250,000.
He is described as a black male with brown eyes and black hair. He weighs 180 pounds and is 6 feet tall.
He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
