CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) A suspect in a fatal shooting on Beech St. has been taken into custody.
Timothy aka “True,”Hutcherson of Clarksville turned himself into Sunday morning, hours after police issued an alert for him and another man, identified as a person of interest.
Hutcherson is being held without bond for criminal homicide.
On Saturday, November 11, 2017, around 11:08 p.m., the 911 center received multiple calls of shots fired at 405 Beech Street.
Officers found 21-year-old Devonte Wilkerson and a juvenile female with gunshots. Both were transported to Tennova Hospital in extremely critical condition.
Upon arrival at Tennova, Wilkerson was pronounced dead.
The juvenile female was taken to Vanderbilt, where she is in critical condition.
25-year-old Dashawn Ramey was identified as a person of interest in the case. Police have located and interviewed him.
