CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. – The Christian County Sheriff’s Office served a warrant today on one of the suspects involved in the sexual assault on a 15-year-old juvenile in October of last year.
20-year-old Tyler Perry of Hopkinsville was out on conditional release with an ankle monitor awaiting his trial date for his alleged participation in the assault, according to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
It was recently determined by court officials that Perry violated the conditions of his release, and will now go back to jail on the strength of the warrant issued by Judge Atkins for violation of the conditions of the release.
Perry was arrested and lodged in the Christian County Jail on a $1,000,000 cash bond.
Perry is one of five people arrested in October of 2014 in connection with a video displaying the assault of a 15-year-old male in Christian County.
According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was assaulted at a residence on Lafayette Rd. and was taken to Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville to be treated for life threatening injuries.
