CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The suspect in a Dec. 7 robbery at Cumberland Bank and Trust on Dover Rd. has been identified and arrested.
Dwayne Anthony Bell, 48, is accused of entering the bank and passing the teller a note that demanded money.
Bell then gave the teller a pink and purple bag to put the money in and left the bank on foot with $4,529.
Police released photographs of the suspect in an attempt to identify him.
According to an arrest warrant, a caller informed police of Bell’s identity. The tellers at the bank were then able to positively identify him with a photo line-up provided by police.
Bell was arrested and charged with robbery. His bond was set at $100,000.
