CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville police are looking for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash that caused property damage April 18 on Current Road near Oak Creek Rd.

Officer Natalie Hall with the Clarksville Police Department said an unknown vehicle was driving down Current Rd. around 5 a.m. and hit four mailboxes. No one was injured.

The four mailboxes that were damaged cost about $400-500 each.

Some of the victims had to replace their mailboxes in the past because of a similar incident.

Police believe the vehicle sustained significant damage and the passenger side mirror assembly was found in a victim’s yard. Based on information from a local GM dealership, the vehicle is most likely a midnight blue 2008 or 2009 Chevy Equinox.
