CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police have made an arrest in connection with a recent string of vehicle burglaries in the Vista Lane area.

Derryon Kendrick, 18, was already out on bond, charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and possession of a firearm in connection with a home invasion that occurred in July of 2019.

During an investigation into several vehicle burglaries occurring November 21-22 in the Vista Lane area, officers located Derreyon Kendrick in the immediate vicinity. According to police, Kendrick was in possession of stolen property associated with the break-ins, including a handgun.

Some of the victims were unaware that their vehicles had been burglarized until officers contacted them about recovering the stolen property. Several vehicles were reported to be unlocked at the time of being broken into.

Derreyon Kendrick, 18, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with seven counts of vehicle burglary, unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon and simple possession. His bond is set at $190,000.
