CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The suspect in the September 30 attempted robbery at 804 Tiny Town Road has been apprehended after the Clarksville Police Department sent out a news release asking for help from the public to identify him.
According to an initial release from CPD, the suspect entered the business on the day of the incident around 4:52 p.m. with a large weapon, possibly a shotgun or long rifle wearing a dark colored jacket and a mask covering his face. He then demanded money and pointed the gun at the victim, who ran to the back of the building, and out the side door. The suspect followed, but ran to his vehicle without any cash and drove off at a high speed in the direction of Exit 1.
The release also included a description of the man, a picture of his dark blue Jeep Grand Cherokee taken by the victim via cell phone and the number for the Crime Stoppers TIPS line. An individual then called in information that led police to Caleb Scott Holloway, who was taken into custody. His bond was set at $100,000.
