Susan Elaine Sanford, age 57, of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Saginaw, MI, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, at Alive Hospice, in Madison, TN.
Susan was born September 26, 1959, in Detroit, MI, to the late Rev. Paul Geiger and Una Geiger. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Geiger.
Susan was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church and Christ Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Sanford is survived by her husband, Keith Sanford; son, Christopher Sanford of Lansing, MI; daughter, April Sanford (Michael Portner) of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Kathy Geiger (Dino Tsoukleris) of Saginaw, MI; and grandchild, Rylen Portner.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Saginaw, MI and on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Clarksville, TN. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday, April 6, 2017, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Saginaw, MI.
