CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Remember Surge? You probably remember the intense caffeine buzz it gave you.
Good news for lovers of that sugar high: The beverage is now available in limited quantities in Clarksville.
The soda, previously discontinued in 2003, is making a comeback. After several customer campaigns, the Coca-Cola company released the drink online through Amazon earlier this year.
This wasn’t enough for customers, who called for a wider release of the drink. The company relented and recently announced that Surge will be available at a select number of retailers in the U.S.
Coca-Cola shared a map of locations, which shows one store in Clarksville, TN. That store is Chuckin’ Clouds Vape Shop at 2680 Trenton Rd. A store employee said the 16 ounce cans sell for $2.
The next closest store is in Bowling Green, Ky., but Surge makers promise that the drink will be available elsewhere…eventually.
