CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region is hosting its 10th annual United We Dine event today. Fourteen local eateries partnering in the fundraiser with each restaurant donating a portion of the day’s proceeds to the nonprofit organization.

The United Way supports the work of over 30 local agencies and programs.

“Today we are partnering with our local businesses and some of our franchises to give back to the community,” said Valerie Guzman, CEO and executive director of the local United Way, who started the day at participant Common Ground Café. “As everybody is going out to eat, they are also giving back to the community at the same time. We know that a community that eats together, thrives together, so that’s United We Dine.”

The community can join in by having a meal today at: A&E Bar and Lounge, B’S Cheesecakes, Common Ground Café, Dairy Queen, Edward’s Steak House, Gingham Café, Hot Pita, Houston County Coffee Company, Island Fin Poke, Jamrok Caribbean Café, Panera Bread, Tropical Smoothie Café, Wicked Good Sandwiches and Yada on Franklin.
