CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is once again hosting its Summer Reading Program, from June 3 through July 22. The theme for this year’s program is “All Together Now,” and it aims to inspire children to explore different cultures and celebrate diversity through books and fun activities.

The Children’s Summer Reading Program is open to children of all ages, from toddlers to young adults. Guardians can register children at the library or online at Clarksville.org. Participants are also encouraged to participate by using the Read Squared app to use a reading log that allows the user to keep track of their progress. Also, in the Read Squared app, users can earn prizes by reading books and attending library events. More information about the Read Squared app can be found on the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library’s website.

“Our Summer Reading Program is a great way to encourage lifelong learning among children,” said Christina Riedel, Library Director. “This is also a fantastic opportunity for them to learn about different cultures and celebrate diversity. We hope that our program will inspire children to embrace differences and foster a sense of community.”

To complement the program, the library has planned several events and activities throughout the summer, including magicians, musical performances, story times, craft sessions, and cultural workshops. All events are free and will be held at the library or the Downtown Commons.  A full schedule is available on our website.
