CLARKSVILLE, TN − Clarksville Parks & Recreation is diving into summer with a Summer Kickoff Pool Party, happening Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Beachaven Pool.

The celebration will feature a live DJ, poolside games and activities, and food vendors. Visitors will also enjoy live water rescue demonstrations, hands-on CPR training, and water safety tips to start the season off right. The event is also a great time to purchase seasonal pool passes, book private rentals, and register for programs offered throughout the summer.

Admission is just $4 per person, and the event is open to guests of all ages. To register, visit https://bit.ly/43t1euv.

New this year: CivicRec account required

Beginning this summer, all guests entering any Clarksville Parks & Recreation pool must have a free CivicRec account. While CivicRec has long been used for program registration and events, this expansion ensures that staff have essential information, such as emergency contacts, on file for all pool visitors.

“CivicRec has been a useful tool for managing our programs and events. Now we’re extending its use to pools as an added safety measure,” said Jennifer Letourneau, Director of Clarksville Parks & Recreation. “This is especially important because children 10 and older are allowed to visit pools without an adult. Having their information and emergency contacts on file helps us respond quickly if a situation arises.”

Creating a CivicRec account is free and takes just a few minutes at ClarksvilleParksRec.com. Guests are encouraged to create their account and pre-register for the kickoff event, as space is limited.
