Story by Reda Home Builders

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Local families here in Clarksville are in need of assistance for Christmas, and local home builder Rick Reda, along with local mortgage lenders Lori Mahaffey & Rachael Rainey and loca Realtors Diane Martin, Joy Evers and Roland Woodworth have come together to help. The Reda Home Builders team has stepped up to organize the 1st Annual Stuff The Bus Campaign Dec. 16-17 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Clarksville Transit System will bring the Reda Home Builders bus over to Movement Mortgage, located at 3402 Cainlo Drive, Ste. 600 for this huge event. The bus will sit in the parking lot for two days as we collect toys, food and monetary donations for the Clarksville Community.

The team has made contacts with local organizations in town to accept and distribute the donations collected during this event. The local Salvation Army and other charitable organizations in Clarksville are slated to receive the toys that are collected while food donations will be given to Manna Cafe Ministries here in Clarksville to support and feed the homeless.

Finally, the monetary donations will feed Clarksville-Montgomery County School children through the F.U.E.L. Kids Program. If it wasn’t for this program, many children would not have food to eat at home after they leave school.

We challenge everyone to donate what you can, even if it’s just a dollar, five dollars, or more. Every dollar collected helps. The team has issued a challenge to local realtors and builders alike. Rick Reda has stepped up and stated that he would match the monetary donations up to $1,500. As word started to spread and commitments started coming in for cash donations, Reda has stepped it up and raised his match to $5,000.

If you would like to make donations and can’t make it to the Tiny Town Road location, there will be a second location for collection at Reda Auto Sales during business hours, located at 510 N. 2nd Street. This is near the APSU Campus. Just look for the Reda Home Builders Van located in the parking lot.
