CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – This year’s Stuff the Bus school supplies drive will be held Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30.
The annual fundraiser collects much-needed school supplies for teachers and students in Clarksville-Montgomery County.
Where/When to donate:
Saturday, July 29 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Fort Campbell Blvd Walmart and Sango Walmart)
Sunday, July 30 12 – 5 p.m. (Wilma Rudolph Blvd Walmart)
All of the supplies donated will go to the school systems’ Teacher Warehouse. Teachers are assigned points they can use to pick up school supplies which will help supplement the items they already have. Some of the supplies will go to students whose families can’t afford to buy their school supplies.
Officials say many teachers spend money out of their own pockets to keep up with supplies in the classroom.
