CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Strong winds and storms are expected late today, followed by a sharp drop in temperatures overnight as a powerful cold front moves through the area. Gusty south winds and scattered showers will give way to thunderstorms this evening, with temperatures falling into the 20s by Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

A Wind Advisory is in effect from 5 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Monday, with sustained winds 15 to 20 mph and gusts up to 40 mph expected.
