CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Some strong to a few severe thunderstorms will be possible across Middle Tennessee mainly this afternoon.
The main concern with any strong to severe thunderstorms that do develop will be strong to damaging winds.
New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible. More storms are expected through Tuesday night and again throughout the week.
Temperatures in the upper 80s today combined with high humidity will put the heat index at 99 degrees today and as high as 106 by Wednesday, which could pose a health risk.
