Be prepared to take shelter. If you are outdoors or in a mobile home, move to a safer structure. Have an area of your home, without doors or windows, in which your family can seek shelter if needed. This area should have water, flashlights, a weather radio or your phone, blankets, and snacks. Consider including a game or comfort object if you have small children.
